Headlight Bucket wires

Ok, I know the accessory circuit in the bucket has black\yellow and white\blue but I can't remember which is hot and which is ground.

Help please. Wiring up my outlet.

Black/yellow is always ground on Vulcans.

http://www.kawanow.org/tips/lights/toddlights.htm

This is the headlight bucket on a 1600. I am not positive if the 1500 is the same or not.

Note on this diagram that I mistakenly labeled two of the posts on the relay as "86"

SO if I a just wiring an outlet and only need it to be on with the bike I could use a relay and tap into the same wires that you did for the lights?

Can I just pair in the ground from the outlet with the ground from the bike and plug them into the relay together?

OP,
I wired lights the same way as Todd. There shouldn't be any problem grounding that way.

I am wiring an outlet. So using this method the outlet would only be live after I hit the starter button, just like the headlight? Cool. I like that.
