5,900 is my recollection. However I did read one article that said 5,750 long ago just after I got the bike. Not sure which is right, but that is the general range. I know mine hits it as I approach 70 in 2nd. A real disappointment the first time that happened. I came to the Nomad from a Concours. I had my adrenalin keyed up and was just ready for it too leap into hyperspace, and the limiter kicked in. Bummer. It took a few runs down the freeway entrance ramp for me to find that lower rpm torque sweet spot, shift to third, and start loving the Nomad.

My tach goes to 6,000. But it doesn't show what the red line is. I've had mine as high as 4,500RPM.

It will hit the rev limiter if you try to wind it out to high in a gear.

You can't hit red line..... The rev limiter won't let you. So you can ride as hard as you please, and will just bounce off the rev limiter..... When you hit that is is a little violent, a sudden loss of power.
