One of the big advantages of engine guard chaps is stopping rain and splash water, how are yours going to hold-up?? :)

Looks like it'll work . Just keep it out of water ;). I just put on a set from PH Customs, and man do they do a good job in blocking off the cold.

Hey Skeeter, I did that when I had my shadow. They work great , but look really cheap!!!!!!
They should be OK in water, it's the same stuff we use for real estate signage. They last about 2 years outside before they start falling apart. |

LOL! But I am cheap! Yes they are plastic. After todays' trip I can tell ya they do hold up in the wind. See Gonzales MCH in SouthCentral for pics... of the trip that is. I plan to trim them off flush with the outside of the bars and naturally trim the zip ties. Maybe vent a little more at the bottom. Too warm this morning but just right this afternoon.

I think that's a great idea.
Maybe you can keep a couple in the bags for "emergency" use. Might also be good for a cold moring, then remove them as it gets warmer. |

Hmmmm...this makes me ponder....
If I were to make a "Mesh" engine guard and place them on the crash boards....would this help to move air away from the drivers head helping to alleviate the buffeting problem I am experiencing....hmmmmm |

I used a couple of budlight cases and ziptied them on rode with them on for a couple of days just to see if they would make that much of a diffence. They really did so i bought some from sage brush. I gotta tell you though i got alot of people laughing at my expence for thoes few days I had them on.
