one last marathon run - done
854 miles - 17 hours and a lot of fun and not so fun two-up riding and I am now here in Virginia Beach to stay. At the very end of my ride my headlight ring came undone and fell off. Good thing I have spotlights. The bowl holding the bulb got dented and I might have to replace it, what a pain in the butt. Highway expansion joints is what knocked it loose. Took 91 to 84 to 81 to 64 and that was much nicer than 95, but a bit longer. My girlfriend rode most of the way with me and her son did about 250 miles. Good training for the ride out to Custer, SD in June '09.

Glad to hear that you are now a permanent SNR (Southeastern Nomad Rider). Those headlight nancelles are pretty expensive. Good luck to you and yours.
