After many years of not riding I wanted to get back on the road. I found a low mile Vulcan 900 Classic during the winter but I sold it to a friend before I put even two miles on it. No Joke. Why? Because I found a mint 2005 Nomad 1600 and had to have it.
I loved the looks of the Nomad. The hard bags are great. It handles great. But, I did not like the long reach to the very low bars. After much research on this form, I ordered Chuckster's 3" risers. They arrived here in Canada faster than anything I have ever order from the USA. I couldn't be happier. I Went for my first longer ride (200kms) after installing the risers and what a difference. Before the risers my hands and shoulders would start to hurt within minutes. Now, I love the bike and have no comfort problems. The Chuckster's 3" installed easy with no need to change the cables or lines. Can't wait to get back on her and be in the wind again. I look forward to see you guys in the wind. Cheers.
