Another Trunk/Tour Pak Option

I ran across this link while I was checking out the Nomads on Cruiser Customizing, and thought I would throw it out to Ya'll

Looks a little to much like something George Jetson would have on his bike, plus it seems small compared to others.

Yes it does, just thought I'd throw it out there, the bike it was on did look pretty good though!

In my opinion I thought it was a little too futuristic.
But I was looking at Corbins fairings though and see that they have one for the Kawi 900 and the 2000, but once again nothing for the Nomad. I was in touch with Corbin and my connection there said David Corbin didn't think there was a market for a fairing on the Nomad. Of course I tried to assure him he was missing a huge opportunity there and also asked if the one for the 900 could be fitted to the Nomad. He said he didn't have a Nomad to try it on. Of course I offered my bike up for fitment, but he didn't bite. Maybe if a few more of us that are wanting that type of fairing, rattled Corbins cage, he might reconsider. Is there anyone down in California that might give their bike for fitment? Corbin might be too expensive anyway.

What kind of business people are these? If I was a manufacturer of motorcycle accessories, I'd be crawling the various forums to see what owners are asking for. "didn't think there was a market for a Nomad fairing" ?? Clueless. I think the demand for a full-dressed Nomad tourer is there.

The money's on the table folks...either pick it up, or leave it for someone else.

The same thing with Saddlemen seats. They never made on for the 1600 models because they didn't think there would be a big enough market for them.

We should get all the Kawanow members to email them and show them the strength and devotion of Nomad Riders.

When I decided I needed a decent seat for my Nomad, I wanted to try a Saddleman. I contacted them and asked if they had a seat for the 07 Nomad. The reply was something like "we don't currently offer a replacement seat for the Nomad, but we may have something middle of next year (this was last October)". I told the guy I need a seat right now, not 9 months from now. I'm not willing to wait that long. Your competitors have them today, and Mustang is going to get my money instead of you.
