Which Side?
When you mount up on your ride do you do it from the kickstand side or the rear brake side? I always did it from the kickstand side but was told it's safer from the rear brake side. I'm getting confused and sometimes don't even ride because of this!

Since I keep my keys on a lanyard attached to a belt loop, I don't leave it in the cap...then I mount from the high side.

Well, after putting lots of thought into this, I decided that it was best to mount from behind

I think I do both. Depend on which side i approach the bike from, but more often from kickstand side.

Kickstand side is easier and keeps you balanced better.

I do both, but more often than not I get on on the brake side after putting stuff in saddle bag.

I do a running start from the rear using the trunk to vault over on onto the seat.

Always from the left side. Just like getting on a horse. So you don't get confused on which side is which. Remember the left turn signal is always located on the left side of the bike. That would mean the right turn signal is on the right side.

Norm,
I think he is just lamenting the fact that his rally season is over. Knowing that we are going to party like Rock Stars in Canmore in about 6 weeks is what has him confused...... All these posts about trimmed or untrimmed, tucked or untucked....seems to me Scott and BD must have a bet riding on who can get the most responses to stupid posts. Just sayin'.....
