What size socket do i nees for my 07 1600 nomad spark plug

Im pretty sure its an 18mm that is required. You should have it in your toolkit as it is a thinwalled stamped socket. most plug sockets will be too thick to fit in the plug guide.

A Sears Craftsman 18mm socket will work fine.

18mm thin wall. ACE hardware sells one that works great, I bought a Craftsman initially, too thick.

Edit: my tool kit did not come with a spark plug socket.

Check www.getmetools.com for Motion pro #08-0175 18mm spark plug wrench for 15.00. Has the rubber insert, etc.
Actually OEM for old Honda's. Much better quality socket than the one that comes in your tool kit.
Lots of other metric tools, IE: t-wrenches, sockets, specialty tools
Not bad quality for the price.

Hmmm...

I bought the Craftsman For $7 and it fits fine. Do the 1600's have smaller plug wells? I never noticed.

Don't know about smaller plug wells......but the reason I like the Motion Pro is the close fit in the deeper wells. Lines up great and plug starts and feels secure when you start threading.
Had a friend cross thread plug on a Harley.
