Some amazing fishing!

About 20 years ago, my family and I were camping along the Henry's Fork of the Snake River in Idaho. There was an osprey nest in a tree along the bank of the river and in the mornings, they would swoop down and snatch fish out of the river. It was an amazing thing to watch.

I don't know, the nest was about 70' off the ground in a pine tree. But a mature Osprey tastes just like chicken.

Funny you mention the Henry's Fork. I was going to say that I've fished that river near Ashton with Ospreys hunting in the area. It is really cool to be standing in the middle of the river fly fishing and have an osprey hit the water within 20 yards of you and come up with a fish.

The area I was talking about was up the road near Mack's Inn.
