My Nomad is Sold

HI
I just sold my 2009 Nomad and purchased a Goldwing. A few friends and I are planning a trip across the US and Canada so I decided to go with a Wing. I haven't posted often but have thoroughly enjoyed contacting members, reading posts, and learning so much about this wonderful motorcycle. I particularly enjoyed the NE rally last summer.
The 2009 Nomad to me is the perfect cruiser. After this trip, if I return to a V twin it will be back to the Nad.

Clyde, believe me when I say you're going to miss that Nomad. As a GWRRA District Director were so busy taking riding our 'Wing taking care of GW business I didn't have time for my Nomad so I sold her. Halfway through our three years of duties, I realized what a wonderful machine the Nomad is. Two different bikes, of course. The 'Wing will take you anywhere you wish to go with comfort and ease and deliver you rested and relaxed. The Nomad may not be as refined and mannerly as the 'Wing, but it will still do what the big GL will do. Difference is that the Nomad will do all that...but it does it with soul!

Hey, you didn't have to get ride of the Nomad to buy a wing. I bought a wing in Dec 2010 and kept my 07. Have put 4500 miles on Wing since I got it but I have put 4,000 on Nomad since I got Wing so 2 bikes is just more reasons to ride!

Well, enjoy your new Wing. Nothing quite like it for those long hauls. It also tears up the twisties pretty well, too. I'm betting you'll miss the Nomad, though.

Congratulation Clyde, Ive often thought of what ever became of you. I really enjoyed our time at the rally last year and the trip home. Hopefully we will meet again.
