I'd probably get an extra 5 gallon jerry can attached to the trailer.
I've just spoke to a couple guys that did it in 2001 and said it was a great adventure. They suggest going mid July/Aug for hottest weather.

Site says one gas stop about half way @ 381 km.
Wonder how the black flies and mosquito's are in July-August?

2 jerry cans, a full face, windex and Off for the mosquitos and a shot gun for the black flies.... for everything else there is MasterCard
