It is really a sad state of affairs our once mighty nation has fallen into. I hardly ever drink and when I do it is only a beer. I don't even recall the last time I drank one even though I have about a half case here at the house that has been here over a year. I do smoke and now pay $4.22 for a pack of Kool. I can remember when I paid a quarter for a pack.

For some reason I thought the lawmakers actually came up with a bill and then the people voted whether to make it law or not. We don't get to vote on anything now. They come up with all these ways to steal our money and then just make it a law. Even if the people vote to make something a law then some panty waving judge will rescind that. Like proposition 8 I believe it is in California. The people voted not to let men marry men and women to marry women. Some judge didn't see it that way.

We have got to take our country back one way or another.

The politicans have learned to use the "This aint gonna hurt" door opener to get things thru in a mild version... then once the door is opened... katy bar the door they will advance what they wanted to begin with.

ie the latest greatest one called Obamacare.

Yes, you are correct but somehow we have got to change that trend.
