Anyone Watch The Jimmy Buffett Special?

CMT carried the Jimmy Buffett Special tonight at 6 PM Central Time. It was for the Gulf Coast to help all the residents and businesses on the coast. If you missed it you missed a treat. He really put his heart and soul into his performance.

Didn't watch it and didn't really care to watch it Gene. I used to like Jimmy Buffett. However, I saw him on an interview after the oil spill started. He kept insisting that this is Bush's fault. So much for his brain matter.

I saw the same interview Joel. IMO that was a lame statement. Don't forget, Big Al also said it was Bush's fault that he & Tipper split. Maybe it was his fault Tiger was screwing around and lost his wife and kids too. ???

No matter what side of the fence your on, I can't understand why entertainers who are trying to sell their work
insist on opening their mouths and aggravating a large number of potential customers. Jimmy is certainly not alone.
Does it make any sense to say.... just shutup and sing?

This was an extremely odd circumstance. Jimmy Buffett has always been a known liberal but has made statements many times in the past that people don't come to concerts to here politial diatribes, that's not what he's about. This is the first time I've heard him make a political statement.

I'm really puzzled why he said it.
