Headin' to the Keys

Tomorrow morning Taminator and I are heading out of town. We are going to Naples to visit with Joe and Terri for the evening. On Tuesday we will head to the Keys to spend a couple nights. We will be witnesses for the Motorcycle Touring Forum Bottom/Up, Top/Down IBA ride. We have to check riders in and out Wednesday and Thursday morning. In between we will get out and see some of the sights in Key West.

We will post some pictures when we get back.

Coach Ron and Tammy left my place this morning for their ride to Key West. Since they've never been there, I thought it was good advice to tell Ron to leave his pink ball cap in the saddle bag ;) .

No pink ball cap. We are hanging out in the room right now. I have to go to the gas station around 3 a.m. Right now, it looks like one of the riders will be in around then. The other is 3, will be later in the morning, sometime around 6.

Did a little sight seeing today once we got checked into the hotel. Tomorrow I have to go to the court house cause I got a parking ticket for not putting my receipt on the windshield of the bike...like it would have stayed. Gave me a $25 ticket for not paying. Got my receipt so now I have to visit the cop shop to get it taken care of tomorrow.

Coach Ron,
When you get settled in give us a trip report on your ride to Key West. BTW Monica got her package from the Peace Corps. She is headed to The Ukraine in September for 27 months. Please keep her in your prayers. Roxy misses you and Tammy ;)

David, no poses at all. I was in "macho hetro" mode the entire time.

That is great for Monica! I will definitely have her on my list for prayer. If she has a mail addy and such down the road, let me know. We miss Roxy too! She is a great dog.

We will post some pictures later this week. It was a great trip. I would love to do it with some of the board members some time. I think we would have a great time.

Come on Mike, it's not that far...For you, first night in Crystal River, second night in Naples, then the ride to Key West. We're always heading up to your part of the country.

Anyway, the "Keys Deer" are about the size of a large dog ;)

I think Key Deer are a figment of someone's imagination. We didn't see any of those. Did see a 6' 2" dude in a white mini dress and fancy hat.

I'm squewin around Joe.

Trying to shake a couple chains "Up in Here". I've been wanting to make a winter bike trip down there for the last three years. Them "wants" for one reason or another are smushed like a squirrel under a trash truck every time. Thanks for the invite but when I go and when I stop in Crystal River and Naples, it'll be for a pick up 'cause y'all're comin' with me.
