At least you can go around the block. Its to cold to even walk out to the garage and look at the bike.

10-4! I got new larger lowers from Chuckster. They are still on the table next to my Lazyboy. Deb asked why I haven't put them on. I told her I didn't see the point..... cold, ok.... roads all iced over, deal breaker! winter sucks!

+1 ;)

I figure at least 6 to 8 more weeks at minimum before any riding begins here in Northern Illinois.

I rode for about an hour and just got in. It was a little cool but not bad. The rain stopped about 5am. I'm thinking about going back out later. We're definitely riding to 97 Kickstand (about 65 miles) tomorrow.

I know this is on another thread, but I thought it was appropriate here too.

Spring? Who needs it? Just got back from a breakfast meeting of the brand new Phoenix chapter of the Vulcan Riders Association. Left the house at 06:10 AM, 48 degrees and rode to the restaurant where we had the meeting - about 50 miles away. Temps should be in the high 60's-low 70's today.

Yeah, I guess spring would be a good thing, then I won't need to wear chaps until next winter.

Don't make me come down there Scott !!!!

The weather has been pretty good up here in the north country. Very spring like. The bike is ready to go, I just need the time to ride now. I'm going to try and get out this coming wk. It's suppose to be sunny the next few days. Then the bike will get to see the underside of the cover for two wks. because I'll be working too much, and too late into the morning where there'll be enough time to ride during the day. These Olympics are going to keep me busy for a couple of weeks.

CJ's bi-annual "in your face" weather report.

We will check back with him in mid summer and see how it is going! Chestnuts roasting on an open fire!

A recent article said it is "Parked Motorcycle Syndrome (PMS).

It was kind of nice ride to north Phoenix for breakfast this morning. Not too cold and very pleasant coming back. Schoeney's comment about "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire!" is just a couple of months away. The summer heat down here is annoying.
