Still looking!!!!!!!!trailer hitch????

I need a receiver style trailer hitch for my 04 that will work around my saddlebag bumpers.... Want to be able to use a mesh basket on the back for luggage and also don't want to get rid of my chrome rails around my saddlebags. Any suggestions???

I would like to see when you get it done or pics 04Kaw1500 from yours. I made one for CactusJack, but he had to remove his lower rails.

I don't keep my hitch on all the time, I can install or remove it in under 15 minutes, so when the hitch is on the lower bag rails come off.

I've never seen a hitch for a Nomad that will allow you to keep the saddlebag rails on, because they all attach to the spreader bar that passes behind the rear wheel and between the saddlebag supports. The hitch replaces that spreader bar, and there's no way to secure the rails to it. To the best of my knowledge, it's either one or the other, unless you have the ability to modify the rails.

I got a used Hitch Doctor from Ebay and it works fine on my 04. Have saddlebag rails but no rear fender rail. Not enough room between the fender and the hitch ball when it is inserted.
