Mechanic in the Atlanta area?

I'm looking for a good mechanic to work on my Nomad (stem bearings, swing arm lube) in the Atlanta area (I'm east of the city off I-85) - I've taken it to a couple of dealerships for minor stuff (oil change, tune-up) just to check out their work and have not been impressed.

Any suggestions?

Hi Qbird66.

I see there haven't been any replies to your question.

I don't think we have but few members in the Atlanta area. I'm about 30 miles south of downtown Atlanta and I see you're out near Braselton.

I don't know any dealers or mechanics in the area to recommend.

I had a couple of services done by the dealer where I bought my Nomad and I decided that it was way too expensive so I bought a service manual and started doing all my own work. I'm learning more about the bike that way and I know it was done right.

Cheers, Bob

QBird66,

I think if your willing to throw a wrench party you may get more help than you need.

If you do your own and get stuck just ask someone will tell how to do it. There is a couple of guys on here that can tell you what wire and the color of it. Most anyone on here will help and give good info

Thanks for the input - I now have a service manual and will tackle the stem bearings this weekend.
