Blowndodge doesn't like everyone to know about that operation yet.........so shhhhhhhhhhhh!! don't tell anyone.

and TC....I have no problem with anyones questions...I just thought it was painfully obvious that the backrest in question would not fit the needs of Doc. I am not sure my wife will like having to step over the backrest to mount....but I dont really need it as bad when she is riding with me so I might be forced to take it off when riding 2 up...or just listen to her everytime she gets on and off

Jon,

I have one of Lonnie's backrests for the Nomad and love it! It sets you upright and relieves the lower back strain. Easy install and when it's removed, you can't see the bracket b/t the driver and passenger seat. Very clean ergonomically.

I'm looking forward to pics and a review of this backrest. I am looking for something for my back.

I noticed with my wife's hams that I was more comfortable without it riding 2 up.

No problem with me Beezer, I just thought Doc asked a legitimate question.
I'm all for free enterprise. I had a rest like these and was happy with it on my 650 Yamaha.
But on my Nomad I wanted an adjustable rest and thats what I bought. It cost me $360.
If these guys can make one that is adjustable for less then thats fine. I even sent them some pics of my rest so they could get an idea of how the adjustable parts work.
I don't see what is wrong with asking questions and apparently they don't either. they answered in a very professional manner.
I don't remember receiving pics of your bike. I'm sorry. Can you send them again please. bf4cm28@yahoo.com Thanks.

I'm not sure anyone can match up to docs needs. HAHA just kidding doc. I am still looking into making an adjustable one but i don't want the bars that attach to the sides of the bike on it. I think that is really ugly. I want one that is right behind the seat and not coming down attaching to the sides of the bike. Hopefully i can figure this out. It would be alot easier if i had access to a nomad to work from in my area. I will let you guys know what happens with that.

I wondered why I didn't get an answer to the question if you got them or not. I will resend them now. Please let me know if you get them.

No my name is Tim. My pics are still sending, I have dial-up :(
The pics are not of my bike. They are of the backrest only. I took it off to show more detail of the adjustments. Let me know if you get tham and if you need different angles etc.
