Good Morning; 62 and cloudy, Hi fellas, Last Monday I had to go and have a hernia operation. I was in the hospital all week and got let out on Friday.Everything went well and I'm at home taking it easy for a couple weeks until the incision heals up well. I had no idea how many people get hernias, it seems to be very common. If you ever need to get one fixed I highly recommend Shouldice Hospital, thats all they do there, and they are very good at it. There method does not use mesh, instead they use stainless steel thread which is much better.Patients come from all over the world to be treated there.The place is more like a country club resort than a hospital. The food is as good as you would get in a fine restaurant and the care is remarkable. Plus for you American patients its about a quarter of the price you would pay in the states.
