I put 200 miles in today...it was a little chilly this am but it warmed up nicely.

I pushed mine about 4' to check the tire pressure in the rear tire then back into the garage. Going up to Alabama in the morning, nice little 980 trip in two days.

No riding today but did cook a big pot of chicken/pork/sausage jambalaya and another big pot of white beans for my parent's 65th. wedding anniversary. Should be able to do a little riding tomorrow.

I rode over to a Kawasaki dealer in Apache Junction, about 35 miles from the house. I was hoping they had a Vaquero in stock. Nope, the one they had was only there about 2 hours before someone rode it home. They say they will have more next month. They didn't have a Voyager, either. They also sell Victory and I got a good look at a Cross Country and a Vision, side by side.

It was chilly, but this is supposed to be the warmest day of the week. 90% chance of rain tomorrow.

I hadn't planned to ride today but Wednesday mornings I spend an hour with some of my classmates from high school drinking coffee at McDonald's. Today was the first time I was going after the knee replacement and I wanted to be sure to get there on time. The wife was gone in the Mercury and luck would have it that the battery on the PT Cruiser gave up the ghost after five years of faithful service. Determined to get to our gathering, I pulled on the boots, bundled up and hopped on Lili for the ride downtown. It was good to see everyone and catch up on all their aches and pains us graybeards are experiencing at this time in our lives. Things had warmed up considerably when we came out of McDonald's so I decided to ride the nineteen miles down into Louisiana to get a Lotto ticket or two. Wound up riding to St. Francisville on the Mississippi River. I was gone about four hours and enjoyed every minute of a great ride. Weather was in the low to mid 60's and I arrived back home with the jacket inner liner in the saddlebag. Living in the deep south does have its advantages. <BG>

Didn't ride today although the temp hit 50. Should be around 52 tomorrow and if it isn't raining I do plan on a short ride. Expecting rain the next three or four days but either morning or afternoon, they haven't said any all day rains. That will give me a chance to either ride in moring if not raining or afternoon if no rain.

It should get into the 30's here today, I have to run a couple errands, and I'll try to take the bike if the roads are not too wet.

Took a local 42 mile ride yesterday. Hadn't ridden in a couple of weeks. Felt good as always to get out for a ride.

First day above freezing here for the entire month of December, but freezing rain this morning, and now jsut showers. If it dry's up I'll try and get my December ride in tomorrow as that is the last day I have to keep my bet going with a buddy. We have each ridden at least once a month for the past 4 years. 2011 will start the 5th year of the bet. Must ride a minumum number of miles based on the temperature when you leave, ie... 32 degrees at departure means 32 miles riden, etc... You must also submit a picture via Blackberry of your bike somewhere other than your neighborhood. This is the closest I've ever cut it, but we have snow on the ground since December 1. Hoping for dry and mid 40's tomorrow!

Just returned from a short ride. With the temp at 46 my legs got a litle chilly but still great to be on the Nomad again.

I pulled my front end apart to tighten the bearings today, and ran out of time to try it out. Actualy I didn't even get it back together, it started cooling down and I got a chill si I called it a day. Hopefully in a day or so I'll at least take it out for a short spin.

rode to Stockton Alabama today, 223 miles.....ran into this ugly dude there....goes by cock roach or something....coacha,,,yea thats its,,,,,,CoachA....nice guy thought ;)

we dodged the rain heading home...don't think CoachA gonna have had that luck as he was heading to S.Florida thru all the rain he brought up....,,,,,,
