That is a very direct and easy route to follow. We'll make up a little time on I 75 and enjoy the back roads north of Valdosta.

Actually Tammy is the "Map Reader" and "Navigator." I just draw them and print them out.

Coach, do you know where the next rest area is north of Gainesville on I 75? Figure I'd start out Thursday and meet you all Friday morning, and a rest stop would be an easy off/on. Also, Lake City is about 106 miles from you and we could meet there since that'll be a first gas stop for you...Ideas?

There is one about 30 miles north, just a little south of Lake City. We could just meet up at Lake City McDonald's for our traditional Egg-a-Muffin and some coffee. Tammy is good with that idea. We have been saving ourselves since it has been awhile for us to go there ;)

Sounds like a plan. Just need to verify what exit off I-75 it is. I'll stay in the area Thursday night and put about 325 miles behind me from Naples. That should also be your first gas stop.

Anyone else in that part of the state can meet us there for the ride up to Helen.

Going to try to ride this weekend. Stitches out and I'm itching to get back on the bike.

Glad to hear you are healing up Joe. I won't be riding much for awhile. I'll be at regional tournament for wrestling Friday and Saturday, then have to prep for a recruiting fair in Lake Wales for Monday. Next weekend is state tournament if anyone qualifies...which is questionable.

Meeting at the McDonald's sounds good to us. Natalie lives just off I-75 anyway, so leaving from her house early in the AM is very convenient.

4447 W Us-90, Lake City, FL 32055

Exit 427 off I-75 then west about 1 mile.

Just need to verify what McDonalds location and which exit in Lake City off I-75 the McDonalds is at and I'll start looking for hotels... Thanks..Joe

Sorry guys...been at regional wrestling since Friday morning (left home at 4 a.m.). Ok, then it is settled, we will meet at Micky D's on 90 in Lake City for the eggamuffin.
