Nomad not starting - Page 2

No.......I am going to go over everything tomorrow when I get off work.....Just haven't had enough time what with working twelve hour night shifts.....Last one tonight and then 5 days off so I'll have lots of time to go over everything.

That sure is a nice looking trike kit, who makes it? What hind of fuel mileage do you get?

It's a hannigan kit and it came with it's own unique set of problems and in the end we had to get it completely redone once due to shoddy workmanship the first time but now it has been totally awesome up to this point. I'm hoping this issue is not connected with the build part of it.

Well, We tracked down the problem to inside the ignition switch. There are two floating contacts in there and at some point (probably during the first trike build) a part of the plastic housing that contains those two floating contacts got burned and partially melted. The one floating contact eventually wore it down to where it got stuck and no longer floated. I have acquired a new ignition switch and I should be back up and running this evening after work. Thanks to all of you for your advice and ideas. And a big thank you to Kevin (voyager) for his help and guidance.
