Crazy cat

My wife went to leave for work this morning, and I walked her out to the car. I was headed back into the garage and I could hear a cat crying. My wife wasn't in the car yet and she heard it too. We looked under the car and couldn't see anything, but we could hear it. The cat had climbed up into her rear bumper. It is in the very low 30's this morning with a cold wind, so the cat probably climbed up there to get out of the weather.

We believe it's my wife's cat, which must have somehow got out of the house last night. We tried luring her out with food, to no avail. I got a flashlight and looked inside the bumper and can see some of the cat. I don't know if she can get herself out of there, it's pretty tight and I can't even get my hand up in there. So I told my wife to take my car to work since I am working from home today. I pulled her car in the garage and shut the door and left a bowl of food thinking maybe the smell would bring her out. If not, I'm going to have to dismantle the bumper to get the cat out. At least it's warmer in the garage.
