I know how you feel. It's nothing for me to pull my tank anymore. This to me is like changing plugs to somebody else. Oh, my advice is take breaks when you get fatigued. Works ever time! ;)

Just a thought, a few months ago I had the same problem as yours, it turned out there is a throttle sensor mounted on the right side on the FI and right under a heater hose, during time it had broke one of my wires, so I took the tank off and unpluged it from the sensor found the break and resoldered it, and relocated it so the heaterhose does not rest on it. She runs great now. Hope this will help.

No you ain't give up! Take a few days off it.

How'd a guy like you score a nice looking bike like that anyhow ???

Let us go back through the thread and see what we missed. We're probably gonna ask some aggravating questions. :)

I'm guessing all you did was remove your tank, fenders and side panels to have them painted. Not the engine from the frame and all of that right? There was one time I when I was replacing the tank and mashed the hell out of one the wires.

Got to ask. How long did your bike sit up while you were having her painted?

And I know this ain't a good time to suggest another mod, but if you ad coasters as per Gadgets site you can get shud of all that vacuum line mess and it makes the engine look better. Its a very simple mod and if you have the wherewith all you can build your own coasters. Or have 'em built.

Good luck on it ballast!

Yep Charlie, get away from it for a little while. Then come back refreshed and start searching again. I know you can figure it out.

When I painted my bike, I ran into some similar issues. It was a pain in the butt to get it all back to gether and running smoothly, but once you do, you'll love it. The new paint looks fantastic! Nice job!

When I put mine back together, I fill the tank and started it up and the fuel pump gasket broke and pour 1.5 gal of gas all over my bike. It was irritating to say the least

All I did was pick a color and fork over a couple of $$$$$$$$.
I was going to go with Kandy Red but someone beat me to it.

She is now in the shop and will hopefully be ready by the weekend.

I could not post a reply for a while looking at that picture of that beautiful Nad on a trailer. Hope it is back to you soon Charlie.

Yes the weather sucks here too and I guess Kris is not going north. My friend from Calgary says it was just snowing!!! I was toying with riding with y'all up to Salmon Arm and meeting him but my Calgary friend does not want to look at the pass right now either.
I doubt Rickyboy is likely to want to roll Saturday AM up that way either.

Sometimes the timing+weather just doesn't work and maybe you could have been in the wrong places when this problem showed up.

Let me get this straight :-/
All this time it wouldn't start because you were out of gas

Look at the bright side, it is an easy fix from here on.
What kind if seat is that?
