Did a 160 mile ride, the highlite was being in traffic for over a mile going thru Stowe following
three cruisers at a jogging pace. They were escorting the Special Olympic Torch Runners. They
eventually pulled over to let some of the traffic go. The next thing that was fun, was riding in
amongst 12 Dodge Vipers from Quebec. Great looking cars.

Oil cooler is standard equipment on current Touring Harleys and I should think it helps a lot.

I look forward to Scott's reply.

Just fine. It seems to run cooler since I installed a Arlen Ness Big Sucker air cleaner and a Dynojet PCV. It didn't seem any hotter than my Nomad under similar conditions.

Did my usual commute, about 30 km round trip. This time I switched to my new boots and my feet were dry even it was raining harder than it did yesterday. Have to seal the older boots.

Weekend looks better.

It was bad yesterday and nasty this morning but it was also a good test for the boots, now I know which pair to use on a road trip.

Took about 165 miles worth of rubber off the Metzlers today. Peak to peak highway up to Estes Park then down to Boulder for lunch and back home. The scenery on this ride is awesome!

The wife and I rode Saturday and Sunday for a total of about 250 miles. I'm trying to prep the wife for a 500+ mile trip in 2 weeks.

Only rode for 5 miles today as I had to get cigarettes. The place I buy cigarettes is less than a mile away but I always add a few miles just to keep the battery charged up. Also clears my mind of the everyday stress.

Gene, I ran out of cigarettes 6 years ago. Wish you would to.

I never ran out as I never really started. Parents smoked. A dirty habit. On the other hand, a really good cigar is nice once in a blue moon, paired with a proper adult beverage.
