Irate Wanted: K53020-189M (Pair of Passenger Grab Rails)

Hello all,

I am looking for an accessory part: K53020-189M (Pair of Passenger Grab Rails). They are an accessory for 1999-2004 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1500 FI. I have search high and low for a pair of these. I cannot find a pair anywhere. Does anyone know where I could locate them? I do not care if they are used. If you have a pair that you are not using then I am willing to work something out. Thank you!

Hey JD Hog!

I ordered that part from them last year. They said it was out of stock (no longer available from the manufacturer), so, they refunded my money.

I appreciate the help though!

Ride Safe!

You could try a search on eBay with that part number. Somebody might have a set of NOS (new old stock) that they are selling. Save the search and keep checking now and then and see if something turns up.

Hi canukrider,

I've been watching EBay for 1.5 years. The part has not surfaced there, in all that time. I am getting quite desperate at this point.

Would you happen to have a picture of the rails you want. I have a pair in the garage. But I don't have a clue to their part number.

Better yet PM me, and I will try to get a picture of them tomorrow for you.

I did a quick search with the links the others provided but there were no OEM pictures.

lol Found them !!!

One of our fellow members had a pair of passenger grab rails from a 1999 Nomad in his garage. He was kind enough to make the international sale and sell them to me. I just received them today and matched one of them up to my 2004 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1500 FI and the holes matched up perfectly! My wife is really happy!!!

I know it is difficult to find a good picture of the rails anywhere. The seller took a great picture and I have attached it to my post to share with you all. Hopefully, if any of you are looking for a pair of these, for your special someone who rides on back, this picture will help you identify them and maybe you will find a great bagger-buddy to you sell you a pair.

Best regards,

-Steve-

p.s. I also got a hit for them (below) when I placed a salvage request search on the web:
