I have never tip toed through the tulips, but I dreamed that I tumble down a grassy knoll with Melissa Gilbert. She's a purdy woman.

The bat story really happened. We arrived at our hunt area late at night and made our way down to the creek by flash light. On one cast I got a hard hit and began reeling in. Imagine my surprise when my pole tip went straight up in the air and I found myself reeling something in from above me! It was so dark we couldn't see so I didn't know it was a bat until I got it on the ground and shined my flashlight on it. Guess the bat thought the bait flying thru the air was a bug and he went for it.
That's my favorite fishing story...the time I caught a bat while trout fishing on a mountain lion hunt.

I tried that one once. Ended up flat on my face 12 feet from where i just was in a pool of paint remover and water. I had been squatting on the floor mounted drill press petting the shop owners dog who also got zapped and was knocked over. I guess i was just lucky to not have hoot the drill press table on my flight. Can't tell didn't see nuthin' but a blue flash. This must be what you mean by indirect. My heart felt funny for 3 days more.

I was thinking of dropping the plate below the turn signals but have not worked up the courage to drill the mounting holes into the fender. The plate in the link you have looks cool but with the tags covererd you'd get pulled over and cited in a minute out here.

Bamabrat, are those Roadhouse pipes? I just installed a set on my buddies c50 and they look identical to those. They have a wonderful sound to them and he only paid 100 bucks for them on craigslist. Wish I could find a set for my nomad.

You got me thiking now! I was looking under the turn signal bracket last night, not much room under there but I see how it could work. Did you attach your homemade bracket under the two exposed bolts that you see on the underside? Did you make yours out of sheet metal or two pieces of aluminum flat bar?
