It depends on the temps. If the asphalt is not molten, then in the lot. I the heart of summer when the kick stand might end up buried 6" deep, then upfront in the concrete.

When I ride to Wally World I don't park at all. I just ride into the store. Most of the aisles are wide enough I can get right to what I'm after.
The only problem I've encountered is with some of the old "greeter ladies" wanting me to give them a ride. Now if that hot "20 something" checkout girl would only ask for a ride......sigh.

I park front and center. I won't block walkways or handicapped spots, but there's no way I park anyplace where there isn't a lot of eyes to see if something goes down. If I can't find a choice parking spot, I don't park at all and leave. I've received several pseudo tickets for parking on sidewalks in front of various stores, but I'd rather get a lecture than have a problem with theft or vandalism of my bike.

At Wal-Mart I was told by a guy that has worked there many years to park on the cement close to the building. Never had a problem doing it that way.

I just park in the parking lot. I find it obnoxious when people park their bikes on the sidewalk in front of the store. Same goes with the load pipes bozos.
Motorcycle riders are a very small percentage and I believe most people in cars don't care about us. But that's OK. When ever motorcycles are banned from some place or the Government makes a new law or regulation concerning motorcycles, we only have ourselves to blame. |
