That's an a priori argument. Cost less comes first and of course it works better. Hogwash. At least admit it is because it costs less and lasts longer. Anything else is just a self-justification. Just saying.

Maybe it's just me. When I switched to the GYTT it was based on traction alone. I had been in 2 close calls and a pretty bad accident that I could not avoid for lack of traction. I didn't care if it cost double and lasted half as long. I didn't know that it looked better and handled better until it was on the bike.

When I bought my Nomad I could afford to get a H-D or a Victory, but I chose the better motorcycle instead. When I bought the GYTT I could afford any tire that fit the Nomad. Again I chose the better product, regardless of price. Just so happens that I got a good deal on both of them.
