Motorcyclist killed on the dragon
Sad news indeed. Lately there have been many mature riders crashing, especially down here. My condolences and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Motorcyclist killed on the dragon
It is really sad to hear of a death on the Dragon. I feel some of these people just aren't experienced enough to be riding the Dragon. Or they feel they are better than they actually are.

Godspeed.
I have never ridden the dragon. But 11 miles and 300+ curves, a riders concentration is put to the test. No matter how fast a curvy road is ridden, a loss of concentration can be hazardous. I wonder how many non-fatal accidents occur there?

Motorcyclist killed on the dragon
That is really too bad. He was thrown 57 feet from the bike, so I would assume he was moving rather fast.

I like riding it in the fall or early spring; the leaves are almost gone or just coming in and you can see through the corners, as oppossed to a lush landscape. There's a hint!! |
