Took a short ride yesterday, Wal-Mart, post office and things like that. 10 or 11 miles total for the day.

I rode to Apache Gold Casino, which is just past Globe AZ, about 170 miles round trip. I left home about 8:30 AM, the ride up was great, but the ride home was pretty hot. Lots of cops on US-60 today, usually I only see 1 between here and Globe, must have been 5 or 6 today.

I went to Payson on Friday. I saw some cops on the road too. Almost got in trouble. I was passing a car towing a camper doing about 105 and the cop had someone pulled over about mile away or a little less. I am glad I slowed down. I've also seen a cop a few times parked on the south side of 87 near the casino, in a Tahoe.

We put a few hundred miles on the bikes today in memory of three fallen members of our Blue Knights chapter. We rode from Pocatello to Jackson, Wy and back. Great day.

That is an outstanding ride for you guys. I did something similar with a few of my regular riding friends in honor of a fellow rider. Emotional when you ride roads and stop where you have stopped prieviously with them.

Rode the last 3 days. Rode to Silt, CO to meet up with some friends. We then rode the Grand Mesa and McClure Pass. It was then back to home. Close to 800 miles.
