The Haircut - LOL

HOPE THIS WASN'T ON ALREADY...

One day a florist goes to a barber for a haircut. After the cut he
asked about his bill, and the barber replies, 'I cannot accept money
from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The florist was
pleased and left the shop.

When the barber goes to open his shop the next morning there is a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his
bill, the barber again replies, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm
doing community service this week.' The cop is happy and leaves the shop.

The next morning when the barber goes to open up there is a 'thank you' card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.

Later that day, a McCain supporter comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replies, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The professor is very happy and leaves the shop.

The next morning when the barber opens his shop, there are five
McCain supporters washing his windows, sweeping his sidewalk and generally cleaning his shop and the surrounding area.

Then, an Obama supporter comes in for a haircut, and when he goes to pay his bill the barber again replies ,'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The man is very happy and leaves the shop.

The next morning when the barber goes to open up, there are a dozen Obama supporters lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the McCain and Obama supporters.

tHE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THE STORY IS YOU SAID THE MCCAIN SUPPORTER WAS A PROFESSOR... WE ALL KNOW THAT YOU WOULD BE HARD PRESSED IN AMERICA TODAY, TO FIND A REPUBLICAN RESIDING IN ACADEMIA..... LIBERALISM HAS A CHOKE HOLD ON THAT PART OF AMERICA..... THEY INDOCTRINATE OUR CHILDREN ON A DAILY BASIS.......

I sent this to all of my democrat friends. They weren't happy with me.

One told me "unfortunately you are young enough to not know better". Mind you, I'm not all that young (think 40). I told her that may be the case in her eyes, but I am old enough to remember Jimmy Carter (I'm assuming she is too old to remember).

Ahemmmmmm, I am in academia and am Republican. I know quite a few others that way. Much of it depends upon your degree and program.

Political science - Democratic
Agriculture Sciences - Republican and generally heavily Republican.
Human Sciences - Democratic
Engineering - Generally Republican
