Selling my '05 Vulcan 500LTD (SOLD)

Was bought just in case my wife would ride -- she didn't so it just sits there looking pretty. I start it all the time just to keep it "loose-and-ready". It is actually a fun bike to "scoot" around on. (After the Nomad it seems like a scooter -- but much faster.)

The bike is blue; has around 2,000 miles on it; and is in perfect; show-room condition. It has a windshield; and has been always garaged.

All fluids have been changed out repeatedly due to "time" rather than use; new battery; filters and plugs also. Runs and looks like the day it was made.

Bike is located in Northern Illinois; and would look at no less than $3,000 firm for it (buyer pays transportation costs)

Title is free and clear. Bikes of this year and condition list for around $3,600 to $3,800 and appear (at least locally) to have begun to sell for a slight premium over what they have been -- likely due to gas costs providing more demand for smaller bikes).

Perfect for someone just starting to ride; or someone that doesn't need a big bike.

If no one is interested I will just keep it for friends to ride when they visit without their bikes.
