From what I have seen, stock 1600 Nomads go for under 6K and I have seen some as low as 4500. The problem with making a bike "your own" is that the money will never be recovered in a sale. That said, NADA is way off. I got 6750 for my 2007 in 2010. For $7800, there are a lot better choices. And we are talking about what bikes actually sell for, not what is asked. We had another member here with a Nomad similarly equipped and he had to come down quite a bit to get rid of it. As far as equipping it as Paul did, see my comment about recovering costs. Customization is just that and it's a matter of wants and taste. Not everyone has the same. My guess is he'd get about $1000 less in the real world, but I hope he finds someone to pay what he's asking.
