Octane Boost?

As far as changing octane, try the midgrade and if that still pings then move to the next higher octane. Run as low of octane as possible without pinging. If you run too high of octane, you will have carbon build up in the cylinders. Do not run avgas. That stuff is really high octane and meant for high compression engines.
I would be interested to know more about the bottle of Octane boost, what brand? where do you get it? how much you put in?
What is avgas?

I use seafoam from time to time, but this is for keeping the injectors clean, I dont
think it boosts the octane?
