Wheel Chock

Never been to that one in particular but know the area well. Wilmington is a great old town. You are very close to the river and river walk. Lots of bars, restaurants, shops, etc. Usually several ships docked around (not cruise or anything..like coast guard cutters, etc)...the USS North Carolina memorial is just across the Cape Fear River. You can ride down through Carolina Beach to Fort Fisher (old confederate fort) and catch the Southport - Ft. Fisher ferry over to Southport which is an old tiny sea port town at the mouth of the Cape Fear River. Have fun...I wish it was going to be just a little warmer, I would ride down and meet you...my Mom lives on the coast about and hour away (near Southport)

If you have any other questions about the area, let me know or PM me..
