Frogs! Disappearing?

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed the lack of frogs. Or is it just in my part of the country. I saw several frogs hopping across the road tonight on my way to the store. Have been thinking of this subject for several months now. I hardly ever see frogs crossing the road or smashed on the roadway. Back through the years there were always frogs hopping on the road especially at night. There would be dozens and dozens of dead frogs on the road.

Is this just something that is happening here in north Alabama or have any of you witnessed this where you live. If the frogs are disappearing all over then we may have a problem.
