7 states in five days

Just got back from a 5 day tour of the Southeast. Myself, DK Dixie and Richard(half a nad) as we call him We met vulcane for lunch on Sunday the17th. We left Georgia on the 18th (temp was 38 degrees)and went up through Tennessee to Kentucky. Spent the first night in Pikeville KY. Second day we rode to Beckley WV. and spent the night. On Wednesday we met classic 1 for lunch and went to the new river gorge bridge. After a look around there classic 1 headed back home. On to Princeton WV. where we spent Wednesday night . Thursday we headed south through VA. and NC. to gaffney SC. Friday we headed back to Blairsville GA. to dk dixies house. After 7 states and around 1100 miles of all back roads except maybe 100 miles interstate, it was the best ride I've been on so far. great friends, good food, good beer, and good scenery. The weather was perfect, no rain. Maybe next year we can do a similar ride.
