Another Starting Question
hey guys,
i just noticed that if i start the bike (08 nomad 1600) then shut it off using the kill switch (was testing the operation) and then tried to restart without turning the key off then back on the bike smelled "flooded" and gave me a hard time starting, even if i waited for the FI light to come back on. But when i turned the key off then back on and waited for FI light to come on it started up first time everytime...did this a bunch of times and same results. wasn't sure if this is some kind of safety feature or if anyone has heard of it? thanks. as a side note the bike is running fantastic, just added some seafoam today. i think i need a new rear tire almost 10,000 miles original tire (down to wear line). i will replace it next spring not sure with what yet. anyways lots of fun i think i will keep this bike a while :)
