Looks like I need a scabbard

No, not to pack a rifle. I need to be able to carry a cane. :-/ My hip is not healing as fast as I had hoped and I'm not going to give up riding the Nomad so today I'm going to figure out how to mount a scabbard. Maybe 2 inch pvc pipe strapped to the fork tube.

Here's a vision. Leathered up biker pulls up on a big Nomad and sets it on the kickstand then steps off and whips a cane out of a scabbard and hobbles away.

My daughter suggested that I put the scabbard on my back. How's that for a visualization?
