After much pain suffering and aggravation my fairing/solo project is complete. I ended up buying the cheaper ebay HD fairing from China, and then the real fun started. Had to make my own brackets, open up the speaker holes and severely modify the radio mount, but in the end I’m pleased with the results. All told I had about $700 plus 20+ hours of labor, but now I have the satisfaction of saying I did my own custom mod! That said, in hind sight I’d probably do the Reckless 6x9. Wish it had been an option when I began.
