300 miles today

The weather was nice enough for Darlene and I to take a 300 mile round trip to central Louisiana. My hometown of Ville Platte has some of the best meat markets in the South. Picked up some smoked pork sausage and boudin and headed back home. Left home at 11 this morning and returned at 5 pm. Kind of cool but we wore the leathers. Bufallo nickel snaps and superb quality leather. Two large perforated leather panels in front and a large perforated section on the back. Should be almost comfortable in the warmer months. Fox Creek is pricey but as it's been said here before "You get what you pay for".
