Ok.. I am going to head to the dealer to pay on my new 08 nomad today, hopefully have it in the garage by next weekend for sure after a few pieces of chrome are put on. My question... My first bike is a 04 vulcan 750. bought it 06 with 3K on it.. Now's its rollin around 15K. Love the bike for what I do. actually riding 2 up was my main reason for looking to a bigger bike. it got around fine but lacked the comfort. I want to keep 2 bikes. one for just bookin back and forth to work, possible rainy days ect. save the nad for the pleasure rides.. Now, only being into motorcycles for 2 years I know nothing of other bikes.. I do know that beyond the semi cramped size of the 750 they seem to have their share of wrench time. Now I have a buddy who has a 95 honda shadow 1100. it's pretty much mint with 8K miles on it. I can pick it up i think for around trade in value of 2300. Then I could sell the vulcan and pocket some cash. so.. since it's just a "work" bike.. which bike do you guys think I should go with?
