1999 Nomad magazine article
This one should make the green/green guys happy.
I was going through a box in the attic and found that I saved a rider magazine from July 1998. I bought a Nomad about 6 months later. ![]() ![]() ![]() They warm you to turn the handle bars to the right so you don't bump your head reaching for the key :) They dyno'd it at 51 horse power and 70lbs torque. Price was $11,999 back in 1999. It's amazing they kept near that price for nearly a decade. I guess they don't believe in inflation. They ended the article saying, "if stock harleys are merely starting points for coustimizing and engine hop ups, imagine what could be done to a nomad with the money left over from the lower inti tail buy in."
