Baffled no longer!

Well, the operation was a success, even with limited mechanical ability and even crappier tools. What should have been about a half hour,as reported, took about an hour. But let me just thank the people here for their input, the info was right on,as were the results. Not much louder but more of a low rumble. You can actually hear the exhaust cruising down the road, instead of just motor noise. I'm very happy with the results, albeit a short sampling w/30 degree temps today. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Thanks again Kawanow members
