Tsukayu fairing installed - with lots of pictures
OK, I got her installed and here's the scoop - For a 2007 Black Nomad
Got a Painted gloss Black(not color matched) Tsukayu light tint 5" with full stereo- $1,309.. I received the fairing 7 weeks after order. The fairing was well protected in a handmade fiberglass coffin type box. Shipping weight including brackets was 32lbs. Quality is outstanding. Fitment is excellent. Finish is excellent Unit is fiberglass with a SMOOTH inner fairing (one of the few available) Paint is outstanding and so close to stock gloss black that I would recommend saving your money for custom color match and just get stock black I find I am very proud of the aesthetic enhancement from the addition of this fairing - my Nomad resembles a "sleeker" Street Glide when soloed out Audio system is capable - if nothing else, there might be too many features for a motorcycle system. Volume is excellent. Noted - If you set the unit to sound good while stationary with a decent amount of base, you will overdrive the speakers while underway - cut back on the Base and Loudness feature so you can crank it up while underway Remote is not practical. Marine cover is included Multi-control is difficult to use while underway. USB storage is neat, convenient feature. Audio Unit is apparently a Hong Kong Version as model does not display under google search Speakers are 6" round Punch Rockford Fosgate quality speakers and look neat - you can see the speaker vibrate Wind protection is non-or very little - you are 'in the wind' with the 5" windshield, but it looks damn good - I will be adding higher windshields for cooler temps Easy on and off with included attachment coupling. Install took longer getting the old windshield/light bar stuff off than mounting the fairing. To use the brackets provided, YOU MUST REMOVE YOUR FORK SIDE MOUNTING BRACKETS, thus, you will lose your lightbar and signals - I have some LED aftermarket signals on the way. Here is how it looks now - I would I do it again - in a heartbeat. I hope this helps some of you considering fairings. ***sorry about the background - I was wanting to ride ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Login or Register to Remove Ads |
