Deer Warning devices

Perhaps someone has a bit of experience or opinion about those inexpensive little gadgets that you can stick on your car / bike that generate a sound to scare away any deer heading your way..

I've seen some on a few bikes (Goldwings, a few Harleys) and got some from Wally World tonight... thing is I'm not sure where to put them (side of front fender ??? Ouch !) or if they'll even do any damn good.

I did a quick search here on KawaNOW but did not find anything..

Any thoughts please ??

(p.s. Just an FYI... those exact same things are sold in Australia to warn Kangaroos... I don't know if they really work on roo's either.. perhaps roo's have hearing like deer, or perhaps its just a piece of junk ! ;) )
