Lay down plate
So it looks like to use the lay down plate, I'll have to drill into the fender.
Anyone have any alternatives they've used? Was hoping I could avoid this.

Gadget's Page has a solution that is inexpensive and no hole drilling required.

Just use the one hole that lines up. Mines been on that way for years. I have an 06 Nomad so take that for what it’s worth...

Unfortunately, none of them line up on the Vaquero. At least the plate I have anyway.
