Almost paid off

Made another trip to the dealership where my layaway 2000 Nomad is stored. There she was stashed away in a corner of tightly bunched bikes waiting for me to set her free. I get my tax refund this week and a little bit more and I'll be able to claim my bike. I saw a Harley Road Glide in downtown Concord on my trip back. I also stopped at National Powersport Distributors to check out what they had on hand. They sold the Nomad. I was tempted to scribble a note "kawanow.org" and put it on the Nomad awaiting shipment/pickup. There was a BMW R1200CL there that I found particularly intruiging. Definitely outside the box thinking with that bike. Check it out here; http://www.nationalpowersports.net/i...st=Description
There was also a 1997 Honda Shadow 1100 that I thought was a real looker pictured here;

The snow is melting slowly, but many of the roads are in rough shape due to frost heaves. When I have all the money and pay off my bike I will get my Valkyrie out of storage and ride it down to Manchester, NH and trade it in and ride my Nomad home. All I need is 40 degrees temperature with my leathers on and I'm comfy. Us northerners are a tougher breed (dumber??), but we don't like hot humid weather.

That is a cool looking Beemer. Almost a cruiser. I did not know there was such a thing.

Racinchef, can't wait til you get that baby. You've been more patient than I could have been. Having it paid for is a good feeling though. That's why I bought used for now. :)
