Anyone going to the VROC Reunion?

Liz and I are planning to attend the VROC Reunion in Eureka Springs, AR. Sept 14-18. Just wondering if anyone else will be going.

I'm not a VROC member. But ES is only 2 hours from the house.
Might ride up Saturday just for something to do.

Rally headquarters is at Carolyn's Ozark Swiss Inn. Saturday is kind of an open day with the memorial service from 9:00 to 10:00. If you want to come up and do something give me a call, Cell #660-676-4445. Liz and I don't have anything planned for Saturday. Hope to see you guys.

although the date works out ok, I will be the guest of honor at a medical procedure on the 15th so attendance this year is not in the cards. I'll think of y'all riding those great roads with good friends while I'm zonked out on drugs. Ride safe and enjoy.

I mentioned this to the boss several weeks ago, and she wants to go.
Of course all she wants to do is go downtown and shop.
If the weather is ok we'll ride up there Saturday, arrive about 11:00.
I don't know if we'll spend the night or come home.
If we decided to stay the night, maybe she could do her shopping on Sunday.
At any rate, If you two are around town at lunch time perhaps we could join you for lunch.
I'm just thinking out loud here :)

Dave my cell number is: 660-676-4445. Give us a call when you get into town or check by the motel and see if we are there. Liz might go downtown shopping with you guys but I refuse to go down there. A trolly runs right by the motel. Worth the money just to not have to take the bike down there. IMO!

I know what you mean Jim, I'm not crazy about walking around downtown.
But it's one of Crystal's favorite things to do so....
I'd rather go for a ride after lunch.
We'll probably spend the night and Crystal can do her shopping/looking on Sunday.
Even though I'm poor and cheap. ;)
I'm guessing the shops downtown are open on Sunday.

We will do something for lunch. Not many bad places to eat in ES. We found a really great BBQ place on hwy 13 up in Missouri called Jill's. The Road House east of town is good also.
Pie in the afternoon at War Eagle Mill would be good if it got reopened after the flood. Just food for thought.

Got to 100 here in the river valley.

Crystal's mom has had some blood pressure problems, and ended up in the hospital.
So we are doubtful for this weekend.
